Emmanuel Maduka
Co-Founder & MD, LifePro Food Mills

Emmanuel has over 3 years experience in rural development, program implementation and agricultural technology. In July 2018, he co-founded LifePro Food Mills, a social enterprise that empowers women in rural communities for the production of highly nutritious, indigenous organic food products. He currently leads the team as Managing Director with their flagship product called Hiru (an organic locust beans brand that has been redeveloped to overcome locust beans’ limitations of bad smell, short shelf life and unhygienic production). Emmanuel was also the former Head of Inventory Control at Babba Gona, a high-impact, financially sustainable and highly scalable agricultural social enterprise that is part-owned by the farmers they serve. Babba Gona is the first Nigerian organisation to receive the prestigious Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, which is considered the equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize in the Social Entrepreneurship industry.
