Hala is studying MASc Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick, holding a joint scholarship (Chevening and Said Foundation) to study in the UK. She has over eight years of volunteering and social work experience in the environment and humanitarian fields. She established the Green Treasure social enterprise that aims to increase environmental awareness through applying sorting and recycling waste projects in Syria.
