Johnmary Kavuma
Founder & CEO, Upcycle Africa
Johnmary Kavuma is a young environmentalist from Uganda. He is deeply passionate about changing people’s lives and saving the environment. He founded Upcycle Africa with an idea of providing affordable, artistic and durable houses to low income earners while training marginalised youth to construct housing using plastic bottle waste. Kavuma’s organisation has run awareness campaigns about plastic waste and constructed a number of plastic bottle houses in different parts of Uganda.
